The 2010 Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure is coming soon. The 2010 PCA qualifiers have already started running at PokerStars and you can qualify for only a $1.10! From these qualifiers you can win a seat at the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and a package worth $15,000 which covers buyins for the event, 8 nights of hotel accommodations plus money for food and drink.
This annual poker tournament event is always a fun one and is held at the Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas. There will be 50 different poker events with millions of dollars in prizes held January 4 – 14 2010 on Paradise Island in the Caribbean. This year includes a Badugi event and a PCA Ladies event weekend January 9 – 10.
The 2010 PCA main event will take place January 5-11 with a buy in of $10,000 + $300. If thats too rich for you, try the satellites. There are also plenty of $180 and $500 events in case you don’t win a seat to the main event.

PokerStars Caribbean Adventure History
The Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure (nicknamed PCA) started back in 2004 and was a World Poker Tour (WPT) event at the time. The 2004 PCA was actually took place on a cruise ship with only 221 players. In 2005 the tournament had 461 entrants and was hosted at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas and has been held there ever since. In 2006 the field was 724 players. 2007 saw 937 poker players entered in the PCA and in 2008 they reached the record 1,136 players in the tournament.
