It's not a matter of government control, it's a matter of big casino lobbyists. They believe that online poker takes away from their business and have actively lobbied congress to shut down online poker sites. What they fail to realize is that the online poker boom has created a wealth of new people willing to test their skills at the poker table in casinos. If anyone went to vegas twenty years ago and noticed how small the poker rooms were then compared to now they would realize the enormous profits casinos are now enjoying because of online poker. The most identifiable analogy is the size of the main event field at the world series of poker. Without online gaming it would still only be a few hundred contestants rather than several thousand. Furthermore, what anyone, whether it be governments or companies, fail to realize is that simply making something illegal will not completely discourage the practice. After all, there are still plenty of hookers and drug dealers. Let's all hope that everyone realizes the folly of their logic and changes their tune to one that allows poker to be legally played online and finally recognize that it is a game of skill.

I don't understand why we can not play online when we can go down town and play poker
I think the goverment just wants more of the piece of action and if they don't get in then no one does.
It a way to control the peoples freedom
pretty soon they will tell us when to eat and sleep huh

Follow-up After two chat sessions and two Emails, no luck. Finally, I found out that the system doesn't allow spaces. One would think that support would know that since they had my screen name!!!! Anyway, new graphics are a step down from old one.
