EPT Vilamoura Heads into Final Table Action

When it all began there were 384 players registered to play in the European Poker Tour’s Vilamoura Main Event. The players pitted their poker skills against one another in what has become the largest ever poker tournament to be held in Portugal.

Each player battling against the others, all in effort to win a share of 1.8 million Euros. The first place winner will receive an astounding cash prize of 467,835 Euros.

The tournaments chip leader, Tony Lewis  wouldn’t even be old enough to play poker in many American Casinos. The 20 year old from Southampton holds 3,322,000 tournament chips. In second place is Sam Trickett, a 24 year old from Nottingham who holds roughly 10k less than Lewis.

8. Rob Hollink Netherlands  259,000
