Phil “Unabomber” Lack Gets ass Kicked by ATV
Rumor has it, Professional poker player Phil Laak flew from Vancouver to Oregon last week, where he enjoyed some of the greatest things the state has to offer. White water rafting on the Rogue River, and some ATV Joy riding in the dunes. Ever seen an ATV accident? They can be pretty wicked.
Phil made it through Oregon Rafting fabulously, in fact he even posted on twitter about the amazing time he’d had. Looks like the ATV might have gotten the best of the man known in the poker world fondly as The Unabomber though. In fact, looking at photographs taken of Laak in the hospital, it’s safe to say that the ATV pretty much kicked Phil’s ass. Following the accident involving the ATV Laak was taken to a nearby emergency room.
He suffered lacerations above his right eye, which required stitches, and a broken bone or two, or well, according to Antonio Esfandiari who was on vacation in Oregon with Laak, seven. Both Phil Laak and Antonio Esfandiari very recently participated in the 2010 Word Series of Poker. They didn’t make it onto the final table as a part of the November nine.
