PokerStars has designed a Unique Poker/Golf Tournament

Pokerstars.com has announced a great event for Golf and Poker players alike! The Half Golf, Half Poker tournament will take place along side the European Poker Tour Vilamoura.

Players looking to participate in the golf/poker event should sign in to their pokerstars accounts, and click Events. Once signed in, simply choose Events, and then click EPT and then select Qualifiers.

If you’d prefer to buy in to the tournament instead of winning a seat via a PokerStars Satelite, choose the events tab, and then EPT –> Qualifiers.

If you’d rather belly up to a virtual poker table and battle it out for your seat in the event, often getting in at a highly reduced rate check out the many satellite’s Pokerstars is offering into this event!

On the first day of the event, players will join each other at the  Pinhal Golf Course  located in  Vilamoura where they’ll be placed on teams and pitted against  on the golf course greens.  The teams will be playing Texas Scramble team style. At the end of the day, the teams will each combine their points with the other members of their team. The final totals will directly effect their next day starting chips.

For the 2nd half of the event, the teams will deunify, and again become individuals, out for each others blood. They will face each other across the felt at the Casino Vilamoura. Every player will recieve a prize bag, in addition to transportation, and a meal. In addition, all participants will recieve a ticket into the final Prize ceremony which will be hosted by pro poker player JP Kelly.
