Saturday April 10th is the start of the Borgata Spring Poker Open which is being held at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City. The tournament series will kick off with a $500 no limit hold’em event which is guaranteeing a $250,000 prize pool.
The first event kicks off at 11 am EDT. The major event of the series is the $3,500 no limit hold’em championship and it will take place on April 25th. This event has two starting days and the prize pool is guaranteed for at least $1 million dollars. The Borgata Spring Poker Open will culminate with the champion being crowned on the 30th.
The series will also be hosting an $8,000 East Coast Championship no limit hold’em event. This event will take place over three days and begin on April 13th. This tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. Players will begin this event with 30,000 in chips and blinds will begin at 25/50. Levels will be an hour and fifteen minutes long and then will increase.
The tournament series will feature many variations of poker in the events including pot limit Omaha, Omaha eight or better, no limit hold’em, seven card stud eight or better, and H.O.S.E. No limit hold’em will be featured in six handed and survivor formats as well as seniors and ladies events.
The Borgata will be hosting a super satellite for the East Coast Championship which will run on April 10th through the 12th at 7pm. The buy-in for this event is $800. The 16th, 17th, 22nd through the 24th will see satellites for the $3,500 no limit hold’em championship and the buy-in for this will be $400.
