full tilt loses license

On June 29, 2011 Full Tilt Poker had their poker license suspended by th by Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).

Thousands of threads, tweets, posts, comments and many more comes up in a flash, when there is any problem connecting to the Full tilt poker server. Full Tilt poker is again in the news, but this time not for delayed payments. This time it is in news for something, which is much worse than the gaming server, Full Tilt’s poker license has been suspended.

Yes, Full Tilt is no more legally eligible to conduct any kind of online poker game. No people can now play poker at Full Tilt; more pathetic, no new people can sign up with the full tilt, no existing user can either refill or withdraw any amount from their full tilt poker account.

According to an official statement released by AGCC, Oxalic Limited, Vantage Limited, Orinic Limited, and Filco Limited has no more having a valid poker license to conduct any online poker event. It is worthy to mention that, the above mentioned four companies are the owner of the Full Tilt online poker. After the official statement from the apex body of the egambling, there is no way out in front of the Full Tilt, apart from ceasing all its online gambling operations.

AGCC went further to state that, the ban on Full Tilt Online Poker is to protect the public interest and it was mulling to slap a ban on Full Tilt Poker after the hearing some allegation against the Full Tilt. Allegation against Full Tilt was presented to the New York’s Attorney General office on April 15th. There will be a legal hearing on this matter at London on 26th July.

The online poker players at Full Tilt have no idea about this matter and they stunned when the site failed to response anything after the ban. The only message Full Tilt releases for its poker players was, “The system is under the regular maintenance, please try after sometime.” This message was appearing on the bottom of the home page of the Full Tilt’s official site in tiny letters. Full Tilt is yet to give any official statement on this matter.
