naptThe PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) will air April 19 at 10pm EST on ESPN2.  The NAPT is a brand new poker tour sponsored by PokerStars.  ESPN2 plans on airing 2 episodes every Monday night for the bext five weeks and then six more episode throughout the summer.

Tonight’s premiere episode of the NAPT will kick off at the Venetian with $5,000 main event which brought 872 players in the field to create a $4 million prize pool.  But that’s not all.  There was also a $25,000 Invitational High Roller Bounty Shootout to add a little excitement to the episode.

The NAPT episodes are being produced by the same company that creates the WSOP episodes, so expect it to look a little familiar.  The hosts will be none other than Lon McEachern and Norman Chad.  ThePokerFish will post the episode up tomorrow.
