Many times a poker player will be signed to an online poker room after making a big impression. Many players are signed after they do well in several major tournaments and other times players may do well in one really large tournament to catch the eye of an online poker room. The most recent poker room to add a new player is Party Poker.

Party Poker was so impressed by Tyron Krost after he won the 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event that they asked him to become their sponsored pro. Krost won AUD $2 million when he won the Main Event and he has now earned even more by signing a deal with the online poker room.

The twenty three year old poker player now joins Team Party Poker and will be playing alongside the other team members. The other players of the team include: Tony G,  Kara Scott, Mike Sexton, Dragan Galic, Bodo Sbrzesny, Ian Frazer and Felipe Ramos.

Krost commented on the deal after it was made: “IT is a dream come true to accept sponsorship. It is fantastic to become a member of Team Party Poker. Winning the Aussie Millions was a crazy experience for me and the security and opportunity it gives me makes me feel hugely confident about the future.”

Even though Krost is a young twenty three years of age, he has been involved in the game of poker for a few years. Krost began playing poker at the age of eighteen when he would play the game with his friends. Krost purchased some poker books and learned more about the game. Once he felt confident he made his first deposit at Party Poker which was just $50. He then began playing limit hold’em for a year and started out at the $1/$2 tables. Then he moved up to the $5/$10 tables.

Krost then moved on to compete in tournament play at Party Poker. Almost immediately he began to be successful. Krost entered a $33 no limit hold’em tournament in 2006 and he beat 189 players to win just over $1,000. Then the next week he won another tournament for $3,102. He then entered yet another tournament and won even more cash.

Krost has also done well in WSOP play earning just over $35,000. But his first big win was the 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event for AUD $2 million, which equals to $1,676,418. Now his life has been changed even more by signing with Party Poker.

Krost will now play in major poker events and represent Party Poker. He will start his sponsorship with the World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris which takes place in May.  Krost will also be available online to play against members of Party Poker. Tony G a Party Poker team member commented on Tyron by stating:

“Tyron crushed the field at the Aussie Millions and it is a pleasure to get him on the team. When I first saw him I thought he may need a trike but now I expect him to be a Tour de Force in the poker world! There is so much more to come from him.”
