WPT Legends of Poker Won by Money Man

August 27, 2010 / LadyHoldem / Tournaments
0

He sat down at the World Poker Tour Legends of Poker final table with the largest overall chipstack. Throughout his play, he continued to dominate, until stock trader Andrew Frankenberger was one of the last players sitting in the 2010 event.

During three handed play, he lost that chip lead for a spell, until he finally sent Tom Lee meandering off toward the rail. Tom Lee’s untimely exit gave Andrew’s, a semi professional poker player and Day Trader just the umph he needed. Frankeberger held a 3-1 chip lead.

In just a few hands of heads up play, Kyle Wilson was sent to the rail with $370,000 for his efforts, and Andrew Frankenberger became the 2010 World Poker Tour Legends Champion, winning 3/4’s of a million dollars for his time.

Final WPT Legends Cash Payouts:

  1. Andrew Frankenberger — $750,000
  2. Kyle Wilson — $370,000
  3. Tom Lee — $174,772
  4. Tom Braband — $109,000
  5. Jared Jaffee — $86,000
  6. Franco Brunetti — $63,000
