The World Series of Poker has announced the release of the 2010-2011 WSOP Circuit Schedule.
The action at the Rio All Suites Casino in Las Vegas during the WSOP each year is amazing. A huge party with tons of action through the casino, in fact the action spills over throughout most of Las Vegas. After it’s over, the players seemingly fade off into the night. Or well, not exactly.
The first WSOP Circuit event kicks off just after the WSOP Main event ends in August. The event is held in Iowa at the Horseshoe Council Bluffs.
Including that first stop at the Horseshoe in Iowa, the WSOP Circuit tour which is in it’s seventh season features at least already scheduled 12 tournaments in various locations. In addition to the 12 tour stops already announced, more are promised to be released in the coming months.
According to a report by the WSOP, this years tour features some noteworthy improvements:
One such improvement is a cumulative ranking system. This new system will award players points for each WSOP-C Ring event. The top 100 ranked players will then play in a season finale event at Caesars Palace. The winner will win a share in the $1,000,000 prize pool and a customary WSOP Gold Bracelet.
