The Bellagio made an announcement recently about the 2011 Five Star World Poker Classic. The event is set to take place in 2011 in April but now the schedule has been changed and moved to May. The World Poker Tour Championship no limit hold’em tournament with a $25,000 buy-in will be moved to May 21st to the 27th 2011.
The PokerStars Australia New Zealand Poker Tour recently held a series of poker tournaments at the Sydney stop of the tour. The Main Event and the High Roller event were a great success with hundreds of players coming out to compete.
Back in 2007 Annette Obrestad managed to win a tournament at PokerStars without ever looking at her hole cards. The poker pro has now stated she is going to try the feat again in the upcoming Bluff Europe Poker Academy which will take place in London at the Victory Casino in May.

Several poker pros were on hand to compete in the event and in the end it was David Williams who would earn the first place prize.
